IMATS has to be the biggest international make up show of the year!
I attended on the Saturday 28th July 2014 and arrived before midday when it was less busy than the afternoon.
The ultimate purpose of the event is for trade and it hosts professional makeup artists sharing their skills and tips. Although I am a make up fanatic and not a pro make up artist, I absolutely loved seeing the amazingly talented art unfolding before my eyes.
Tickets for the events are expensive so I really wanted to make the most out of the day (which ended up being practically all day!).
I planned my wish list according to the exhibitor listing in advance and I made time to watch makeup artists, talk with the smaller brands, sit in on the shows and spot the bloggers too!

I picked up quite a bit of product at trade prices that I have found hard to get hold of in the UK.
I just love how colourful everything looked! Make up heaven for anyone crazy about products.
